This dissertation presents the impact of using information technology through mobile technology, its mobile phone and mobile application to address access to food and non-food needs of the impoverished population in Angola. The research topic “mobile technology impact in overcoming supply chain challenges; An analysis of consumption in poor population in Angola “aims to assist the government in using mobile technology operators’ data on customers to get a good profile of the impoverished number and quality, using the mobile money to empower the vulnerable families with mobile money and use the mobile apps to respond to the stock advertising and marketing.
With mobile technology, all actors are linked; the government, mobile phone companies, retailers, and consumers address what seems to be the aggravated food security and nutrition access by the impoverished people in Angola. This document has used the triangulation methods to explain its findings and results obtained by utilising descriptive statistical tools with online application support like Survey Monkey and the Statistics Process for Social Science for data analysis.
