Institute of Digital Business Strategy (IDBS)

Over the next 20 years Africa will be the most promising investment destination for businesses, and many are predicting that resource rich continent will be the “new China.” Growth in Africa is real. Per-capita GDP has more than doubled in the past decade. According to Deloitte, 7 of the 10 fastest-growing countries in the world are in Africa.

As businesses compete to gain a foothold in the evolving African economy, the IDBS is postured to offer training programs and courses for businesses that can be tailored to suite their specific needs as determined by their market focus and the current skill level of employees. The IDBS is standing by to discuss the direction of the marketplace in a digitally transformative business cycle. Disruptive technologies can be sensed, assessed, and leveraged to improve your firms’ products and services and ensure competitiveness as the future market environment unfolds.

While Africa’s future may look promising, the present conditions are not. As indicated in the figure, 60% of Africa’s unemployed are young people. Since 80% of purchasing transactions are done on mobile platforms, and 60% of internet users indicate they will do so in the future, African companies are well postured to develop serious digital transformation skills.

With rapid technological change comes challenge. Businesses cannot expect to provide in-house training for all the software and database development tools that can now be applied on projects – that will be the job of organizations like IDBS. Through our courses and certificate programs, the IDBS offer a low-cost training solution in a wide range of technology areas which are constantly being updated to keep pace with industry.

The IDBS improves society’s digital disruption challenges and makes them manageable. Providing solutions from research and analysis that focuses on how to realign a firm’s IT and digital capabilities to become compliant with the strategic needs of entire organizations in the digital era.

The IDBS applies digital business strategies effectively by means of a Digital Business Strategy Framework, which provides a way to enhance traditional business models, digital engagements, and value creation. We help individuals and organisations understand the revolutionary benefits of digital technology and gain the skills to implement digital business strategy in their workplaces.

The IDBS is a forward-thinking organization that focuses on strategically channeling digital approaches to address business challenges. Digital technology can be used to improve the way businesses operate and interact with the economy. The IDBS has accumulated expertise in digital transformation, which is leveraged to help organizations leverage research and data management strategies in unprecedented ways. Whether it’s understanding business goals or exploring key enabling technologies like cloud computing, social media, mobile, Big Data analytics, and blockchain, IDBS aims to drive innovation and efficiency in the digital landscape. If you’re interested in learning more, you can visit their website at www.insitutedbs.com.

The Implementing Digital Transformation focus equips and prepares learners with modern skills to become effective managers across the broad nexus of projects. In IDBS courses, students learn the fundamentals of managing projects in a systematic way. Historical best practices are supplemented by forward-looking market sensing, leveraging evolving technologies, facilitating cross cultural collaboration, and implementing new management methods such as Agile Project Management. The roles of regulation, policy developments, legal instruments, intellectual property and civil liberties are also addressed.

Each IDBS course is typically completed in 10 to 12 hours of study and is offered at a cost of $25 USD each. Upon completion of the 4 courses students will be granted a certificate as a Certified Digital Transformation Professional (CDTP) and will become registered with the IDBS as such.

Common Question for this project

The BMIL brings together resources in the form of industry, university, and government organizations, as well as individual Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve challenges imposed on the impoverished.

Application of the MI Cooperative Framework model facilitates collaboration by providing workspaces to share information, gathering research from respected SMEs to generate ideas and, finally, exploiting the research findings by applying them to other situations.

Passion the only requirement! If visitors and participants are passionate about working in an area, then they should put in a request to BMIL and a webpage on the requested topic will be created for them. Once created, visitors have access to a network of experts to guide them as they work to resolve important issues.
