Danny Céleste Gakiza is a determined young Burundian. She graduated from International Leardership University in 2023 with a degree in Business Management. She honed her practical skills with an internship at Jeunesse au Service d'un Burundi Meilleur (now known as Spring Communities). During this period, she contributed to the “Empowering Youth Together” project, which aims to strengthen the practical and technical skills of children and young people to enable them to make positive individual and societal changes as global citizens. This hands-on experience has given her invaluable project management skills, reinforcing her desire to make a real difference in her community.
Her goals don't stop there; she intends to obtain a PhD, spurred on by her love of research and new ideas. She is very enthusiastic about participating in the Burundi Management Innovation Lab, where she hopes to embark on projects that could radically change the future of her country. The project matches her dream of sparking new ideas and creative solutions. She sees the lab as a kind of launching pad where concepts can be transformed into practical solutions, ultimately stimulating the local economy and society (which could have an impact). She is ready to make a significant difference both at home in Burundi and beyond.
